In my earlier teams, I was used to working with traditional vision statements, the catchy and multi phrased single sentences. However, I found them confusing and not to serve the purpose. Lately, our team tried out Michael Hyatt’s vision script technique and it was an interesting journey.
Our team just completed three weeks of working fully remote and we will continue this for at least a few more weeks. This is unknown and strange territory. Our team is spread across two cities and we are used to having talks over a screen. But, this can’t be compared to a situation where the whole office starts working from home.
I believe not many teams or organisations leverage the full potential of code reviews. It’s a simple tool/process which brings so much discipline and collaboration within and between your engineering teams.
